1. Operator and agreement
Fiscan is provided under the FireLuma brand by Shanghai Yingwei Digital Technology Co., Ltd. These Terms govern the Fiscan mobile application and related FireLuma services. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you use Fiscan for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization where applicable.
2. Service scope: data capture and conversion, not analysis
Fiscan provides tools for dental facial data capture, 3D reconstruction, intraoral STL/PLY import, manual or automatic geometric registration, head-position correction, dimensions, distance-map visualization, virtual-articulator visualization, project conversion, transfer, export, and sharing.
These functions acquire data or perform user-directed geometric calculations needed to register, display, measure, convert, or export that data. Fiscan does not analyze the data to diagnose disease, classify pathology, assess health or treatment risk, recommend treatment, predict an outcome, identify a person, or make an automated clinical decision. Names such as “distance map” or “3D model measurement” describe geometric display tools and do not represent clinical findings.
Fiscan is not a substitute for source-data review, professional judgment, or any legally required validation. You decide whether and how an output is used in a downstream workflow.
3. Eligibility, accounts, and security
You must be legally able to enter these Terms and must provide accurate account information. Protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
If you sign in through Apple or Google, that provider's terms also apply to its sign-in service. FireLuma does not receive your provider password.
4. Authorized data and your responsibilities
You may capture, import, upload, transfer, export, or share a person, object, or third-party file only when you have the necessary ownership, authority, permission, notice, and consent. Do not place real names or unnecessary identifiers in case labels. You are responsible for selecting recipients, securing exported files and links, and meeting any confidentiality, professional, recordkeeping, or data-protection duties that apply to your work.
5. Your content and limited license
As between you and FireLuma, you retain ownership of content you provide and outputs generated for you. You grant FireLuma a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, reconstruct, transform, and otherwise process content only as needed to provide functions you request, maintain service security, respond to support you initiate, and comply with binding law.
FireLuma does not acquire a right to sell scan content or use it for advertising, profiling, face recognition, clinical analysis, or model training. The Privacy Policy explains data handling, retention, sharing, and deletion in more detail.
6. Local, cloud, transfer, and sharing functions
You choose whether to use an available local or cloud reconstruction path. Local-network file transfer may still require account and subscription checks through FireLuma services. Cloud functions send the relevant content to the infrastructure described in the Privacy Policy.
An interactive share link may allow anyone who receives a valid link to view the shared model until expiry or revocation. You must verify the selected content, recipient, and expiry before sharing and revoke a link that is no longer needed. Files exported through the system share panel or transferred to a computer are outside FireLuma's control after delivery.
7. Third-party formats and services
Fiscan may import or export common model formats and may create project packages compatible with third-party Dental CAD workflows. Compatibility can depend on the version, configuration, license, and behavior of the receiving software. You must verify each imported and exported file in its destination application.
exocad and any related marks are the property of their respective owners. A reference to an “exocad-compatible” workflow identifies intended file or workflow compatibility only and does not state or imply sponsorship, certification, partnership, or endorsement by exocad or its affiliates.
8. Subscriptions, renewal, cancellation, and refunds
Paid access may be offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Before purchase, Fiscan displays store-provided product information, including the plan, billing period, localized price and currency, and available renewal information. The store account used for purchase is charged by that store, not directly by FireLuma.
Auto-renewable subscriptions continue for the selected billing period until cancelled in the store account. Plan changes, renewal timing, billing recovery, grace periods, cancellations, and refunds are handled under the rules and confirmation shown by the store used for purchase and applicable law. A cancellation normally stops future renewal but may leave access active until the paid period ends unless the store states otherwise.
Fiscan provides Restore purchases and, for a verified active subscription, Manage subscription on the Plans & subscription page. Deleting a FireLuma account does not cancel store billing. Cancel future renewal in the App Store or Google Play before deleting the FireLuma account.
9. Output quality and required verification
Capture and converted outputs may be affected by device capability, motion, lighting, coverage, tracking, scale, network conditions, source-file quality, alignment choices, software limits, and the receiving application. Geometric registration, distance colors, dimensions, landmarks, head position, mounting data, and converted files may be incomplete or approximate.
Before downstream use, you must inspect the original data and verify coverage, scale, orientation, registration, dimensions, landmarks, edits, link content, and exported files. Keep independent copies of important source data and outputs. Do not rely on Fiscan for emergency or safety-critical decisions.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- violate privacy, personality, intellectual-property, export-control, or other applicable law;
- capture, upload, transfer, or share unlawful or unauthorized content;
- bypass subscription, access, security, or technical controls;
- interfere with service availability or attempt unauthorized access;
- introduce malware or use the service to harm another person; or
- present an unverified or approximate output as a diagnosis, independently validated clinical conclusion, or guaranteed result.
11. Intellectual property and app license
FireLuma and its licensors own the application, service, software, interface, documentation, and related intellectual property, excluding your content and third-party marks. Subject to these Terms, FireLuma grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Fiscan for its intended functions. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create unauthorized derivative services except where applicable law does not permit that restriction.
12. Service changes and availability
We may maintain, secure, improve, or modify the service. Features may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, device or network limits, third-party services, or events beyond reasonable control. We will provide notice of a material adverse change where required by law. No service can guarantee that every capture, transfer, reconstruction, or export will succeed.
13. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
FireLuma may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, nonpayment, unlawful or unauthorized content, a material breach, or harm to the service or others. Where practical and legally permitted, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
You may stop using the service and request account deletion through Settings > Cloud data & account > Delete account, subject to active-task and team ownership conditions shown in the app. Account deletion and content retention are governed by the Privacy Policy. Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fiscan is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a guarantee that all output will be complete, accurate, compatible, or continuously available. FireLuma is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss caused by use of an unverified output, unauthorized sharing, a third-party destination, or loss of a file that you were responsible for backing up.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so those limitations apply only to the extent permitted there.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service or law. Material changes will use a new effective date and will be presented through the app or another appropriate notice before taking effect when required.
